So I came on this vacation wanting to see more of Costa Rica, since last time I was stuck in Coco and I really didn't get to see all the things people keep telling me about.
I decided I was going to Samara no matter what this trip. My friend Milo always raved about how awesome Samara was and that I needed to go. So I was going. I asked my friend Sarah to go with, cuz she has nothing to do all day and she wanted to travel as well, but not alone.
I rented a car from Dollar. They were supposed to be at Sarah's house at 10 am. Of course I knew that they would be on Tico time and be a little late, but they completely forgot about us! I called them at 10:30 to see what was up and the guy on the phone found my reservation and then said "oh shit, we will be there in 30 minutes." Totally forgot.
So they finally came and we were on our way! Funniest road trip car in the world! You will see in a few more pictures!!

We made it to Samara, it was VERY small so we decided to keep driving to the next beach over.

We drove back to Samara to try and find a place to stay. Milo had suggested this one place, so we went there and talked to the guy. He said he might have 2 rooms and to come back at 5.

Eating at a little restaurant on the beach the people next to us ordered a HUGE Mojito. HUGE. $20.
We went back to the hostel at 4:50, the guy wasn't around but another person helped us. He said he DID have 2 rooms available but they just got rented 5 minutes ago. Are you KIDDING me? So now we are on the hunt again to find something. So far Samara is not as cool as Milo thinks!
We found a little Hostel on the other side of town. Looked at the room. It was decent enough and it was getting dark. So we took it. Should have driven back to Coco!!!
We went to the bar Milo had suggested and it was DEAD. Nothing going on and they didn't even serve food. There was a pizza place down stairs and since we are both Pizza addicts we got a pizza. We each had 2 happy hour drinks and then went home.

Samara is totally boring and we don't know how anyone could live there. I want to go back to my little bigger beach town of Coco!!!
