Blog Under Repair...

Sorry to all you loyal views of my blog (thanks mom) but something has happened and I have no idea what i am doing with this thing anymore. I have tried to post a new blog for the past 3 days and come up empty handed each time... Lame I know. Not much has been going on in my life anyway. I was sick all last week and stayed on my couch and watched 25 hour long episodes of GLEE, my new favorite show by the way!!! The weather was beautiful until Friday and now its been snowing for 2 days straight... I leave in 84 days so that's all that matters...
This is my dog Aumoe watching it snow, wondering why I don't want to go outside and play with him...
Until I figure this blog out again, I will talk to you all soon.

We Didn't Start The Fire

Yesterday October 3, 2010 while sitting at the Pub watching Football people in the bar started talking about the Forrest Fire outside. We all looked outside to the West and there was a HUGE cloud of smoke... Crazy.

Calls kept coming in from people saying that they could see the flames. All of a sudden the bomber planes with retardant were flying in. It was so awesome to sit outside and watch the planes, the smoke and the people freak out.
The fire is in an unpopulated area with no homes or structures nearby. This is actually a really good thing for my county as the Pine Bark Beetle has killed 95% of all the trees up here.

The side of the mountain where its burning

Made for a killer sunset

The airplanes were AWESOME

As of right now about 550 acres have burned. I can't wait to see how this all plays out. Our landscape will be more beautiful than before. The firefighters and pilots are doing an amazing job! Its very smoky and smells like a campfire, but all is well. We just have to remember that there are no homes in sight. Just the animals will have to find a new place to live. As this area is one of the most populated hunting areas around. Burn Baby Burn!!!

Smash Bash

Every Friday night of the summer we have a BBQ at my best friend Taylor's house... On Friday October 1, 2010 things were off to the normal start. Drinking, cards, lots of food being made and of course friends. My feelings were hurt so I was drunken crying and Taylor asked me if I wanted to Smash something!! Of course I said yes. I was summoned to the bedroom so I couldn't see what I was about to be smashing. I finally was allowed to start smashing. I put on my hood, safety glasses and went outside and saw the TV!

Bear Attack

On Thursday September 30, 2010 I woke up in a wonderful mood actually wanting to go to work... I did my normal routine inside the house and then walked up the stairs with my hands full, like always, and noticed that a bear came onto our property and got into the trash. I laughed a little bit and decided I was not going to pick it up because 'someone else can do that.' I opened my car door and was in complete shock, the bear had gotten into my car. I left my window open the night before and I guess he climbed through and decided he wanted to eat the apple and pear I left inside. He also decided that he wanted to try some gum and ate about 4 packs in my stash. He destroyed some cd's and just made a mess of things. My whole car smelled like 'Bear Piss.' It really gave me a reason to clean my car. No damage was done, luckily, but the whole situation is just funny!
