I have been waiting for this day since July, when Ween announced that they would be playing THREE nights in Denver starting December 29 and ending on New Years Eve. Dreams really do come true! I have seen Ween on HalloWeen and now I will see Ween on New Years Eve. Life really doesn't get much better than that!
Well the day has finally arrived. I had everything ready and I was so excited! I knew that I had to be first in line, to be able to get front row Deaner! I left Winter Park on time, but the drivers from Texas were slow driving and it took me a little longer than expected. But that was fine. I grabbed some food, went to Target and then I was on my way to The Fillmore to wait in line until 8 pm when the doors opened! I arrived at 1:15. Not a soul in sight. Luckily I brought my book and the sun was shining! I took off my jacket and got a little sun. Around 3:30 the next people finally arrived. It was a family of 4 from Colorado Springs. How awesome that their parents are taking them to a Ween concert!
We finally got in the doors and I ran to get my poster and Shawna ran to get our spots on the railing. This is our new friend Juhhl, another WEEN lover!
This is Gabe, he is the Tech guy for Ween. He knows me (I Hope) and he always gives me the set lists! Yay Gabe.
Deaner... My main man. I love this dude. As you will notice I take a million pictures of him every night and I need to be RIGHT in front of him! And I think he knows me!
